Chapter Leadership event sets attendance records With more 190 ASHI leaders attending from a record-setting 67 chapters, 41 states, a Canadian Providence and Puerto Rico, this year's leadership training event was a success. Attendees heard presentations on finding new leaders, ethics and regulation myths, and got a look at a Smart Track module. For the first time, the Chapter Relations Committee held a four-hour "boot camp" training session for new and struggling chapters. The workshop was geared to help those chapters get up and running quickly. Five leaders from four chapters and the new Puerto Rico SIG were the guests of the CRC - all expenses paid. Budget permitting, the CRC will repeat the boot camp for other chapters in 2007. Watch for highlights in the December Reporter. Cost of NHIE going up Alert all ASHI Candidates. The National Home Inspectors Examination will increase in price from $195 to $225 beginning on January 2, 2007.
