Attention: Officers and Directors
The April meetings are set. The Board Orientation takes place 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13 (Board only event), and the Board meeting will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14th (open to the ASHI membership at the Rosemont Hyatt Hotel, Rosemont, IL).

ASHI Certified Inspectors and ASHI Associates replace Members and Candidates
While the requirements for membership categories remain the same, Members and Candidates have a new name: ASHI Certified Inspectors and ASHI Associates. Web site updating is underway, and printed documents will be changed as current supplies are exhausted. New logos for Certified Inspectors and Associates with Logo Use can be downloaded here.
Chapter Bylaws
ASHI chapters should update their chapter bylaws to reflect the new membership category name changes. This is considered an administrative "housekeeping" change. No review or approval by HQ or legal counsel is required to make these changes. Please do so immediately.
Change in Tracking of State Home Inspector-related Bills
Starting this month, ASHI is no longer retaining the bill tracking services of Swandby/ Kilgore Associates. That means chapter presidents won't be receiving e-mails with updates on bills from Kathi Kilgore. A combination of efforts by you, the Legislative Committee and ASHI staff will provide the information you need to deal with legislative issues in your state. to find out what's going on and to relay your issues and concerns to your

Are you looking for a technical presentation developed specifically for home inspectors for an upcoming chapter meeting? Six Smart Track Chapter modules (slide presentation with instructor notes) are now available. To gain access for your chapter, contact Michael Long at michaell@ashi.org or by phone at 847-954-3188.
To log into Smart Track using the login and password you received via e-mail and mail, click here. Once in, click on the ASHI Smart Track program under "My Courses" section.
MRCs available through chapter seminars
Chapter seminars offer the ASHI Membership a convenient way to earn required MRCs. For a list of all MRC approved seminars, click here.
Chapter Calendars just a click away
Is your chapter struggling to get members to attend meetings? We can help. Did you know that all chapters have calendars on the ASHI Web site to announce chapter events? You can see them here (after logging in). Your members can look at their own calendar and the calendars of other chapters to see what's going on. To use your chapter calendar, you need to appoint a calendar administrator. Contact Bob Kociolek at bobk@ashi.org or 847-954-3177 to get your calendar going or to resolve questions or issues.
